Curtain Walls from the Contractor’s Perspective | Building Science Technical Seminar
About 150 architects, engineers and other technical professionals within the A/E industry attended Kraus-Anderson University’s second annual technical seminar, Curtain Walls from the Contractor’s Perspective. The AIA-accredited seminar was presented by the Kraus-Anderson Building Science Group: Mike Spence, AIA, FCSI; Jon Porter, PE, Assoc. AIA; and Paul Whitenack, AIA.
“Our goal is to improve communications, clarify requirements and expectations, reduce risk for all parties, and provide a more cost effective solution for our owners,” said Spence.
Response to the seminar was overwhelmingly positive, with many positive remarks and excellent marks and requests for future topics on attendees’ course evaluations. “I thought it was a great presentation and it addressed many of the issues that we see that are typically overlooked,” said an attendee. “The emphasis on lessons learned was great,” said another guest. “The KA team presented many hot topics,” said another.
Kraus-Anderson University is KA’s professional development program, providing continuing education opportunities for employees and business partners.
